Warranty Policy

Overview
1.1 If you are a consumer, which means you are not buying our products in the course of your trade, business or profession, you are entitled to a 2 year guarantee with respect to manufacturing, material and workmanship defects, starting from the invoice issue date. In Europe the guarantee is valid within the European Union (with the exception of Malta, Cyprus and the European outermost regions). This guarantee policy only applies to purchases made directly on our e-commerce “CELEKTRON.eu”. Consult your dealer regarding the warranty policy if you purchase products from a third party.

1.2 The 2-year limited warranty covers electronic parts (if applicable) and non-wearing parts: motor, controller, torque sensor, battery, etc. The warranty does not cover: any consumables, any non-original or unauthorized components and parts, any damage or defects to the covered components resulting from failure to follow the instructions in the user manual, force majeure, accident, theft, vandalism, improper use , neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations, modifications, improper assembly, operator error, water damage, extreme driving, stunt driving, or improper/unauthorized maintenance and services. With regard to the battery, the warranty does not cover damage from power surges, use of improper charger, improper maintenance or other improper use, normal wear and tear or water damage, improper storage (below -20° or above + 45°). Wear parts are not covered by the 2 year warranty, however we will always offer support, if needed, on these parts at a reasonable and proportionate charge.

Procedural process
2.1 To initiate the warranty process, you must contact and inform CELEKTRON customer service. We may ask you to show proof of purchase and as detailed a description of the problem as possible and photographic and/or video material if possible. Please note that to ensure your safety, you will need to stop using the product(s) until the problem is fully resolved. Therefore, in the event of a request for assistance under warranty, the purchaser must request the RMA (repair authorization) by going directly to the Sales Point where he purchased the product or alternatively he can request the RMA via our website www.celektron.eu in the “Technical Assistance” section.

2.2 CELEKTRON customer service will be at your disposal to manage any problems concerning your products in order to identify the best and fastest resolution. Depending on your situation, possible step-by-step interventions could be:

– first preliminary analysis during which we guide you in making simple corrections remotely;

– directed to one of the official assistance service points;

– authorization to go to a professional bicycle repair shop of your choice and reimburse the repair costs incurred;

– we proceed to collect the product/s from the CELEKTRON operational headquarters for the resolution of the problem.

We will instruct you on the procedure to use. The defective component will be replaced with another original component or with another equivalent component. If necessary, you or the professional bicycle workshop of your choice will receive the replacement component.

2.3 It should be noted that it is always necessary to contact CELEKTRON to request to be able to take advantage of the guarantee and to obtain a notification and a preventive repair authorization (RMA) from the

ours before taking further action. Unauthorized repairs hamper our ability to investigate the defect and determine whether or not the defect is covered by the warranty. The warranty is voided if the user or a third party attempts to repair the product(s) without prior notification and authorization from CELEKTRON.

Important tip
3.1 LIKE ANY PHYSICAL ACTIVITY, RIDING A BICYCLE MAY CAUSE MINOR OR MAJOR INJURY OR DAMAGE, ALSO MAY WORSEN OR COMPLICATE PRE-EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITIONS OR ILLNESSES. BY DECIDING TO RIDE A CELEKTRON BIKE, YOU ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND RISK FOR ANY INJURY OR OTHER MEDICAL CONDITION THAT MAY RESULT.

3.2 YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE USE OF THE BICYCLE HAS INHERENT RISKS AND DANGERS, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, TRAFFIC CONDITIONS, WEATHER CONDITIONS, ROAD AND SIDEWALK CONDITIONS, NATURAL AND UNNATURAL OBJECTS AND OBJECTS, IMPACTS OR COLLISION AND NEGLIGENCE OF OTHER DRIVERS. CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREE THAT IT LIMITS ITS LIABILITY AS SET FORTH IN THIS SECTION. CUSTOMER SHALL INDEMNIFY AND KEEP INDEMNITY FROM ALL COSTS, EXPENSES AND LIABILITY (INCLUDING REASONABLE ATTORNEY’S FEES) ARISING FROM ANY CLAIMS BY CUSTOMER OR ANY THIRD PARTY ARISING OUT OF CUSTOMER’S USE OF THE BICYCLE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, CUSTOMER ASSUMES ALL RISK AND LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE OR INJURY, INCLUDING DEATH OF ANY PERSON OR DAMAGE TO CUSTOMER PROPERTY OR OTHERS ARISING FROM THE POSSESSION, USE OF THE BICYCLE OPERATION OR CARE AND INSPECTION OF YOUR BICYCLE INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ALL MEDICAL EXPENSES AND FINANCIAL AND ECONOMIC LOSSES.

Return Policy

Overview
1.1 If you are a consumer, which means that you are not buying our products in the course of your business, trade or profession and are purchasing through our official website www.celektron.eu, you can return the purchased products at your discretion:

1.2 We have a 14 day returns policy which means that you have fourteen (14) days from the day you have received your item to request a return.

1.3 In order to take advantage of the right to request a return, your item must be in the same condition in which you received it, i.e. without having used it, with all the packaging and protections as delivered, and in its original packaging. A proof of purchase receipt will also be required. If unfortunately you have lost, thrown or damaged the box and packaging, it is still possible to exercise the right of withdrawal with a contribution of €150.00 for the replacement of the original packaging. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU KEEP THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING FOR AT LEAST 14 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE.

1.4 To take advantage of the return procedure, you must inform Celektron customer service of your intention to return the product/s within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the same/s. Your return will not be processed if you do not notify Celektron customer service or if the 14 day period has expired. You will be required to provide proof of purchase and photographic proof of the product(s) in the original box with all packaging and undamaged. The return and refund will be granted only after verification of the product(s) at our operational headquarters. In the event of wear or damage to any part and/or component of the product, we reserve the right to deduct the amount corresponding to the extent of the damage from the amount of the return. Items returned without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

1.5 Depending on the case and the situation, you will be advised on how to proceed, whether to deliver the products to a courier designated by us or by other means. Please kindly follow the customer service instructions.

1.6 It should be noted that the cost of redelivery for returning the product/s are charged to the customer, which will be deducted from the final refund, as well as the initial shipping costs, in the case of free shipping during the purchase.

2 Product damage and problems

2.1 Please check the products upon receipt of the products and contact us within 24 hours if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive a wrong item, so that we can evaluate the problem and resolve it.

3 Exceptions/non-returnable items

3.1 We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift vouchers.

4 Refunds

4.1 After receiving the returned product(s), we will check for any damage, wear or missing parts. If such circumstances are found, the extent of the damage will be estimated and this value will be deducted from the refund.

4.2 Within fourteen (14) working days from the day we receive the returned product(s) from you, we will issue the refund using the same means of payment used initially, unless you has expressly agreed otherwise. We will refund the payment received from you in relation to the initial purchase by deducting the value of the cost of re-delivery from the amount and, in the event of damage found, by deducting an amount in relation to the damage found.
